Stokesley Recitals
ACTIVITIES | Classical Cleveland presents monthly lunch-time and occasional evening concerts at Stokesley Methodist Church and occasionally at other venues in North Yorkshire. They are organised by Peter Sotheran, who ran the highly successful Classics at Kirkleatham series for some 15 years. Lunch-time recitals at Stokesley Methodist Church feature the rising stars of the next generation of musicians, since Classical Cleveland enjoys a close relationship with the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. We provide 'platform experience' as part of their BMus and post-graduate Masters Degree courses. Tickets for lunchtime concerts at Stokesley are on sale at TicketSource until 4 hours before the concert, and then at the door immediately prior to the concert. Doors open 1:30pm for the concert at 2.00pm. Tickets for selected concerts are also available at the Yorkshire Store, High Street, Stokesley, Stokelds Fountain Street, Guisborough, Alison Hargreaves Optician Redcar Road, Marske, and the Book Corner, Milton Street, Saltburn. Classical Cleveland have their own Go Fund Me page at www.gofundme.com/f/classical-cleveland to make good the shortfall arising from the impact of COVID on the last two seasons. Please support it if you can. |
